America in Bloom’s 2022 Symposium Awards

The Town of Pound Ridge was recently honored at America in Bloom's 2022 Symposium Awards. America in Bloom (AIB) promotes nationwide beautification efforts through education and community involvement with landscape and environmental enhancements. Pound Ridge was awarded the special "Community Involvement Award" and the Pound Ridge Historical Society was singled out as one of the volunteer groups that makes Pound Ridge so special, writing "We can heartily recommend that Pound Ridge and its historical society keep doing what they are doing to bring history alive to residents and visitors." Growing Pound Ridge's Carrie Sears, who led Pound Ridge's submission to the AIB, recently presented the PRHS with a plaque to recognize its key contribution.
